Job Summary
Responsible for defining and driving U Mobile’s network security strategy and architecture roadmap to ensure a secure-by-design approach across network and wholesale services. Works closely with engineering, security, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and enhance secure network solutions aligned with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and business objectives. Provides strategic direction on emerging technologies, governance frameworks, and security initiatives to strengthen overall network security posture.
The Day-To-Day Activities
Act as custodian of the mid-term network security strategy and architecture roadmap.
Develop comprehensive network security architectures aligned with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives for network and wholesale services.
Design and drive security solutions based on Security-by-Design principles.
Monitor emerging network security technologies and industry trends to assess relevance and business value.
Collaborate with ISD Security teams to develop and maintain security frameworks, guidelines, and best practices.
Provide strategic network security input to support corporate security policies and initiatives.
Work with cross-functional teams to embed security requirements into network planning and implementation activities.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote security awareness and alignment.
Represent the organization in industry and regulatory forums related to network security strategy and governance.
Engage with wholesale customers to align and recommend appropriate security solutions.
Lead RFP/RFQ activities for network security solutions and technologies.
Provide strategic input for annual operating plan (AOP) budgeting and planning for network security initiatives.
