Role
The Day-To-Day Activities
Testbed Facility Management:
• Provide strategic leadership in the planning, build, maintain and manage the testbed facility.
• Maintain and manage the network and application layers of the testbed, ensuring its operational readiness and reliability.
• Lead coordination efforts and to work with relevant network vendor, network and IT BUs to oversee the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of equipment, software, and related systems within the testbed.
• Manage access control, security protocols, and overall governance of the testbed environment.
• Ensure the testbed has the necessary capacity and capabilities to support current and future innovation projects.
• Act as the strategic point of contact for testbed-related matters, representing the facility in high level discussions with ecosystem stakeholders and ensuring alignment with the broader innovation and business agenda.
Customer Onboarding & Technical Support:
• Manage the onboarding process for UM, Tech Partners, and Customers who will be utilizing the testbed for testing and innovation development.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users of the testbed, assisting with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation and processes for testbed usage.
Testbed Capability Development:
• Lead the strategic exploration and recommendation of advanced technologies and infrastructure improvements to ensure the testbed remains a leading facility.
• Drive cost-effective utilisation of the testbed resources.
Leadership & Team Management:
• Establish, lead, and manage a high-performing team to support development and execution of testbed operations
•Define and establish team structures to support optimal collaboration, clearly outlining roles, responsibilities, and key deliverables to meet strategic goals.
• Lead cross-functional coordination, partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the testbed’s strategic initiatives
