The Day-To-Day Activities

EIP BU & Program Development:
• Define EIP program objectives, timeline and success metrics.
• Develop and set a clear innovation strategy for EIP including continuous evolvement of EIP’s definition.
• Identify areas of innovation opportunities and focus areas for EIP, driven by emerging MY industry demands and trends.

EIP demand management.
• Set directions for development of partner ecosystem.
• Ensures objectives and outcomes fully align with AIP commitment and deliver on theMyDigital agenda.
• Manage EIP budget.

EIP Innovation Framework Development:
• Develop framework for co-creating innovation with partners.
• Oversee capabilities required to catalyst MY innovation.
• Identify and prioritise 5G features, use cases and emerging tech based on demand.
• Ensure funnelling of co-created innovation solutions into scalable solutions and commercialisation opportunities.

EIP Awareness
• Set direction for EIP's market positioning.
• Drive awareness and traction of EIP within MY, and to global and regional organisations (e.g.
GSMA, TMF, Bridge Alliance).
• Oversee and ensure execution of roadshows and inhouse events with wider MY ecosystem (e.g.
government and private industry sectors, and technology institutions of higher learnings)

About You

• Candidate with more than 20 years’ experience and experience in innovation management, strategic planning, business development, or technology leadership roles within the telco or tech sector.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful innovation strategies and initiatives.
• Proven track record of building and managing strategic partnerships and ecosystems
• Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams.
• Innovative thought leader – strong profile and presence in the Malaysian market.
• Ability to anticipate future trends, develop long-term strategies, and articulate a clear vision.
• Exceptional ability to identify and nurture strategic relationships with external partners.
• Negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Deep understanding of telco, industry trends, business models, and regulatory landscape.
